Hello everyone, it's everyone's least favorite Drama Queen/Attention Whore, Sonique (aka Quexinos) here. So today someone asked me why I was letting the domain name expire in June. I'm not. First of all, the domain doesn't expire until October, second of all, I wasn't the one who wrote the message that was on this page. It was the result of an agreement I had with someone and even though all parties meant well, it wasn't quite what I wanted. I kind of forgot about it until it came up again today.
This domain name is a huge part of FUS and as long as FUS is still around, I don't plan to stop linking to it. Even though it's no longer in my care, it is my creation, after all. I have too many fond memories of it and there are too many people that I still hold dear involved with the domain to just let it expire.
There are a million things I want to say to people in this space but there isn't enough time in the world to write it. I would like to publicly address a few people as I feel they deserve it.
- Rocky Raccoon - Thanks for taking such good care of the site. You did exactly what I wanted to do with the site. You breathed new life into it and brought about new fans and new faces into a warm community. When I think back to how badly the site was being mangled in my last couple years, I know I made the right choice in giving it to you. Thanks a lot.
- Kaotix - All I can really say is that you totally rock. You did a great job running the forums when I wasn't around and I always felt like I didn't give you enough credit. I could always count on you to hold the fort down and help me out when I needed it. I could not have asked for a better admin and I mean that with every ounce of my being. I know you retired as an admin last year, and I hope that's going well for you. I hope to see you around. Thanks for everything.
